For a long time, I thought about creating a personal website.
Not because I needed a portfolio.
Not because I wanted a personal brand.
Mostly, I wanted a place to think in public.
Over the years, I’ve worked on various systems: accounting platforms, healthcare applications, payment integrations, cloud infrastructure, and more recently, Open Banking platforms.
One thing I’ve learned is that software engineering is full of lessons that vanish if you don’t write them down.
A production incident teaches you something.
A difficult integration teaches you something.
A mistake teaches you something.
Then, a few months later, you’ve forgotten most of it.
This website is my attempt to keep a record of those lessons.
You’ll find notes about backend development, system design, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and occasionally topics that have nothing to do with software at all.
I don’t expect every post to be perfect.
The goal is simply to keep learning and keep writing.
By the way, this site is built with Hugo — just plain Markdown files, nothing to babysit. I write, commit, and it ships.
